is called in chartersGlenlochy Alban, to distinguish itfrom the other. We have thereforethe term Alban applied to the country beyond the frontier of Dalriada, andthe term Eire to Dalriada as being acolony of Scots from Eire. The southpart of Morvern was called Kinelvadonor Cinelbhadon, from Badon, a son ofIjoarn, and therefore belonged to Dal-riada. On the shoulder of the hill inMull called Benmore, which formsthe pass from the northern to thesouthern part of the island and iscalled Mamchlachaig, there are twocairns. The one on the north is calledCam Cul ri Alban, or the cairn with itsback to Alban, and the other CamCul ri Erin, or the cairn with its backto Eire. There is a similar cairn onlona and another on Colonsay, bothcalled Carn Cul ri Eirin, which seemto mark the boundary.
